InFlame BBQ

This was a group project, consisting of 5 people, for a live project. It was for Inflame Ltd, who have designed an outdoor cooking appliance, that can also be used as an open fire. It is made from concrete, with steel inserts, and weighs roughly 65 kg's. The brief was to design a suitable packaging for this product, which would be able to lift and protect it. The product could be used in most scenarios, and also be transported. The product will be lifted by 2 people, and with this design it can be achieved with comfort and stability. The materials will be strong and durable enough to withstand the weight, and are natural materials. The rope will be taken away with the delivery drivers so they can reuse them for future outdoor cooking appliances. The handles will have a foam coating, to prevent the rope damaging the hands.
